Dean's journey as a professional artist began 19 years ago. Since then he has had over 50 solo exhibitions, including in Australia, Singapore, USA and China.
Dean's works are incredibly bold with a passionate use of colour. His art attempts to be a guide of emotions that can overcome his audience with the vivacity, brightness and life that is ever present at the core of nature. Thus he has developed a technique of abstraction and thick layering of acrylic to create a three dimensional representation of what he sees to be the essence of nature.
This technique was self-taught over many years of experimentation and he is continuing to evolve.
Dean's works are extremely collectable and have a wide appeal.
